Semerwater is one of only two freshwater lakes in
the Yorkshire Dales. That in itself makes it worth
visiting.
Add in spectacular views, a Roman road, two idyllic
villages and an atmospheric ruined church and this
relatively easy six mile walk becomes very
attractive.
