The 2025 annual dinner will be held on Friday 4th April at “7:00 for 7:30 pm ” at the Knights Table Restaurant . . .

The Knights table is licensed and a bar will be available

Dinner of either two or three courses will be followed by the traditional quiz with hugely desirable prizes.

The cost is £24.50 for two courses or £28.50 for three courses, with drinks from the bar as you go.

The menu options are . . .

Starters

  • Soup of the day – A piping hot bowl of our homemade soup served with homemade bread and butter. Gluten-free option available.
  • Gyozas – Crispy roasted pork dumplings deep fried served with hoi sin dipping sauce and pickled cucumbers.
  • Samosas – Spiced potato and spinach samosas with a bowl of tarka dal and mango chutney. Suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.
  • Popcorn prawns – Plump Greenland prawns tossed in our own salt and pepper coating, deep fried, crispy and served with pea shoots and sweet chilli dipping sauce. Gluten free option available.

Mains

 

  • Steak and onion pie – Slow cooked Maudsley farm beef with rich local ale gravy in an all-butter shortcrust pastry, served with vegetable selection and chips.
  • Fish & Chips  – Fresh Fleetwood haddock fillet deep fried in a light ale batter served with mushy peas and chips. Gluten-free option available.
  • Grandma’s Cheese Pie – An old family recipe, three cheeses, onion and potato oven baked in a shortcrust pastry pie served with salad and chips. Suitable for Vegetarians.
  • Sheep and pigs – Slow roasted crispy belly pork, Maudsley farm Lamb chop over smoked ham bubble n squeak with red wine and peppercorn gravy, side of seasonal veg. Gluten-free option available.
  • Goan vegetable curry – Cauliflower, red pepper, green beans and potato cooked in our mild Goan spice paste with tomato, coconut and tamarind served with vegetable pilaf and bhel puri. Gluten-free, suitable for Vegetarians and Vegans.

Dessert

  • Blackberry & Apple Crumble Tart with vanilla ice cream
  • White chocolate cheesecake with blueberry compote. Gluten-free option available.
  • Chocolate and stem ginger meringues layered with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Gluten-free option available.
  • White chocolate and raspberry tiramisu
